Hot Stone Massage is an ancient practice that uses heated natural Basalt stones that are placed on precise points along the body to create soothing pressure. These stones are rich in Iron and so retain heat longer. Swedish Massage is performed by rubbing the muscles with long gliding strokes in the direction of the blood returning to the heart to enhance the positive effect of this Massage. Hot Stone Massage benefits include relaxation, stress release, help with back pain, and improvements to depression or anxiety.
Cold Stone Massage
When cold stones are placed on the skin, it initially causes narrowing of the blood vessels (vasoconstriction). When they are removed, the blood vessels dilate (vasodilation), bringing fresh blood and oxygen to that area, which increases circulation. Frozen marble penetrates beneath the skin layer into the fascia and muscle, reduces inflammation and aids in detoxifying the body via blood flow into the center of the body. Cold is a powerful decongestant pushing fluid and wastes with muscles that are tense, overworked and inflamed. It gives an alternative constriction and dilation of blood vessels.
Fire and Ice Massage
(hot and cold stone)
Cold stones tonify the facial muscles and strengthens bodily systems like the immune system. Cold stones are used to aid inflamed muscles. When used along with hot stones that are sedating, cold stones have a stimulating effect. Helps increase the body’s metabolism, muscle tone, body’s stimulation, decrease of pain and decrease of inflammation or swelling to flush toxins back to the body. Marble stones are cooler than any other stone in nature.
Raindrop Therapy
Drops of essential oils fall like rain onto your back. This treatment combines the science of aromatherapy with the techniques of therapeutic massage to bring the body into balance, help align the energy centers and release blockages. Helpful for chronic back problems and boosting the immune system, especially during flu season.
Raindrop Technique uses a sequence of essential oils that are immune enhancing, support the body's natural defenses, as well as the circulatory, respiratory, endocrine, digestive, nervous, and other body systems. These oils, which are high in antioxidants, are also mood elevating and antiseptic, creating an unfavorable environment for harmful viruses and bacteria that can hibernate in the body. Essential oils are known to boost stamina and energy, help you relax, help manage stress and frustration and promote overall health, vitality, and longevity.
Aromatherapy Massage
An aromatherapy massage is a method of massage therapy that incorporates essential oils into the system of kneading muscles and soft tissues of the body to help relieve medical conditions, injuries, or to preserve wellness. Its benefits are far-reaching and include the treatment of sprains, anxiety, digestive disorders, stress-related insomnia, soft tissue strains or injuries, headaches, joint pain, damaged skin, and the improvement of complexion. The therapist administers essential oils to treat the patient by direct application to the skin specifically through massage oils rather than through sprays or salt baths. Using essential oils in this muscle manipulation process introduces the influence of aromas (aromatherapy) in the pampering and treatment system, thus turning an ordinary massage into an aromatherapy massage.

Warm Bamboo
Bamboo massage incorporates bamboo stalks of different lengths and diameters to provide deep-tissue work. The massage promotes circulation, sensory nerve perception, and lymphatic drainage, as well as providing a deep sense of relaxation and well-being. In addition, using the bamboo sticks helps to reduce stress and strain on the practitioner’s hands and fingers.
It is believed that by stimulating the tissue, the bamboo has the ability to reduce the “sluggish state of the body," by dissipating the heat resulting from an accumulation of toxins and poor circulation; some people who have undergone this practice have described these releases as a whole-body tingling or a warming sensation.
Chakra Balancing Massage using essential oils
Chakra balancing massage is a therapeutic modality that combines the power of massage therapy with essential oils to restore balance and harmony to the chakras. This holistic approach recognizes that disruptions in our energy centers can lead to physical, emotional, and spiritual imbalances. By employing specific massage techniques and energy healing practices, chakra balancing massage seeks to bring awareness to the body's subtle energy systems, balance the chakras, and restore harmony to the body, mind, and spirit.
During a chakra balancing massage session, a skilled therapist utilizes their hands and fingertips to apply gentle pressure and manipulate the body's soft tissues. The therapist may focus on specific areas of the body associated with each chakra, such as the lower back and legs for the root chakra or the upper back and shoulders for the heart chakra. Through intentional touch and energy transfer, the therapist seeks to convey nurturing, universal healing energy to the person and facilitate the release of stuck or negative energies that may contribute to physical, emotional, mental, or spiritual distress.
Cupping originated thousands of years ago and is one of the oldest forms of manual therapy. By placing cups onto the skin, a suction is created lifting the soft tissue. This creates an increase in blood and lymphatic flow, allowing fresh blood, oxygen and nutrients in, and pushing stagnant blood and toxins out. Cupping is great at releasing fascial restrictions. I explain to my clients that it’s like reverse massage – we’re lifting the tissue instead of compressing it.

Lomi Lomi Massage
Lomi lomi is a traditional Hawaiian massage that uses a combination of massage techniques, nut oils, and sometimes elements of prayer, breathing and dance to restore energy and soothe the body. It is also known as the 'loving hands' massage. This name helps to explain its principles - the massage works gently yet deeply into the muscles with continuous, flowing strokes, allowing the recipient to relax and give in to the nurturing touch.
Lomi lomi works from the belief that memories are not just stored in the brain and mind, but also in every cell of the human body. The long, continuous strokes of the massage are designed to help the body let go of its old patterns and behaviours, which can cause as many stresses and strains as muscle tension.
Acupressure & Lymphatic Massage using essential oils
In Chinese medicine, lymphatic congestion is viewed as Phlegm-Damp congestion, and herbs that drain Dampness are indicated. There are herbs and essential oils that target the lymph nodes directly and stimulate lymph fluid drainage. Acupressure is an ancient form of massage that is one of the treatment methods used in Traditional Chinese Medicine. The goal of acupressure (as well as other Chinese Medicine treatments), is to encourage the movement of qi ("life energy") through the 14 channels (meridians) inside the body. These are the same energy meridians and acupoints as those targeted with acupuncture. Chinese Medicine theory states that the constant flow of qi through these channels is essential for a person to keep their health. If this energy flow is blocked, the body can no longer maintain the balance that is needed to maintain high energy and deal with health issues.
